Okay, here is my teaser. I am currently reading the ARC** of Her Fearful Symmetry: A Novel by Audrey Niffenegger. Yummy!
Elspeth got up – or rather, she was suddenly walking out of the room without any intermediate motions of getting up. When Valentina followed her into the kitchen she vanished. The Kitten mewed loudly and bumped against Valentina’s leg.
Elspeth is one of my favorite names (from a series of books by Mercedes Lackey) so it always cathes my attention. I want to know where she went. Great teaser and thanks for stopping by.
I love the name also. I struck me right away and so far, very fitting for the character!
Disappearances are always good for suspense, no? I want to know why/how/what the heck!? Great teaser!

Now that is an intriguing teaser! I’ve got this thing for older sounding names, Elspeth — love it!
I liked Time Traveler but not as much as I was hoping. So far so good with this one – nice creepy house, a ghost and cemetery.
I love that name!!! Names can play such an important part in a story and so far, most are so fitting in this book.
I want to know also! Just started this one so I am not sure of anything yet.

I think that the reviews sometimes ruin books (and movies) for me. If the reviews are almost all glowing, I may expect too much. I am glad I get to read this one before the hoopla.
