My teaser is from Cult Insanity: A Memoir of Polygamy, Prophets, and Blood Atonement by Irene Spencer. You can enter for one of five copies of this title that I am hosting as a giveaway through Hachette Book Group.
A couple of weeks later, I saw a distraught Asian man, about thirty, sadly walking through the streets of the colony, crying and asking every person he encountered if they had seen his wife, Vonda. When she realized he would not leave until he found her, she decided to confront him.
Definitely a powerful account of the cult mentality!
