This week’s question is “What is the most informative book you’ve read recently?” I am currently reading Cult Insanity: A Memoir of Polygamy, Prophets, and Blood Atonement by Irene Spencer which is her first-hand account of her brother-in-law’s reign of terror as the self-proclaimed prophet of the Mormon colony she lived in for many years. So far it has been a very informative look at how a cult mentality an overcome a group of people cut-off from the rest of the world. Head on over to Booking Through Thursday to let everyone know your own big reds and to discover others you may have missed!
While you are here, what is your pick? Oh, I also changed the theme for my blog. I am going to live with it for a little while. If inclined, let me know what you think.?

This sounds really interesting (and a little bit creepy), but you know when you hover over your link the preview brings up a girl with her pants down! No idea what’s happening there!!
That sounds like somethink I ought to check out!

That sounds really interesting, especially since I have a friend who as a child lived among a (non-Mormon) cult. I think I’ll add this to the pile, thanks.
My pick is My Life With the Eskimo, an account about an Arctic expedition.
Oh, the girl was there all right – in all her glory!

Well I didn’t see any girl with her pants down. I saw that and even sat there and waited to see if something would happen and nothing did. I’m not really big on non fiction but it does sound creepy. I’m certainly no stranger to creepy since I’m almost done with another book by Bentley Little.
I am not sure either. It is a link to Amazon. I just re-did it and it seems fine now. Great another thing to be paranoid about!!!! Thanks for letting me know!
Oh my, I am almost finished and I cannot imaging what it must be like to live within a cult. Scary!
