My teaser is from The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.
I wanted to lift him up, like statues I’d seen in art history books. A woman lifting up a man. The rescue in reverse. Daughter to father saying, “It’s okay. You’re okay. Now I won’t let anything hurt.”

I have this book in my TBR pile…I’ve had it forever and really should read it!
Nice image. I see a lot of people are reading this book – in expectation of seeing the film I expect. I’ll be looking forward to reading your thoughts on it. Great teaser!

Great teaser! I really enjoyed this book.
I read this book earlier on this year, and found the premise very fascinating. Thought it was incredibly well-written for a debut novel as well.
