Well, hour 1 is over (for my time zone at least). Being the first time I have participated, I did not really plan on how to update my reading progress. I am going to make it pretty simple – book, number of pages, time spent reading. I will not be able to update each hour but will as often as possible.
Book: Rebecca
Pages read: 78
Overall total pages read: 78
Time spent reading: 45 minutes
Overall time spent reading: 45 minutes
Now for the hour 2 meme:
This is a mini-challenge being hosted by Word Lily. The challenge is to make #readathon a trending twitter topic, take a screen shot and post to your blog. Well, it has already happened but my screen print is not working. This is about as close as i can get – I copied and pasted the trending topic. Hope this counts! Go read-a-thonners!!!!

Looks like you’ve started off great. Good luck with the rest of the 24 hours!
yay! happy reading!!
Traditional read-a-thon blessing:
May the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.
Good luck today!
