My teaser this week is from Angel Time, the new novel by Anne Rice. I am gearing up to start this today so I have absolutely no idea what is going on.
Again he laughed lightly. “If I had been meant to prevent the murder, I would have done it,” he said. “You do remember reading that angels are essentially messengers, the embodiment of their function so to speak. Those words don’t come as any surprise but the surprise is obviously that I’ve been sent as a messenger to you.”

Now that is intriguing. Good teaser. I hadn’t realised Anne Rice had a new book out – she doesn’t have much of a profile in the UK these days.
Oh, that’s a good one!
Such words just might lure me out to Amazon to buy the book!

Angels that appear as messengers often have monumental tasks to be carried out by those they deliver a message to — so superior those angels, laughing lightly like that.
