My teaser this week is from Nibble & Kuhn, by David Schmahmann.
“Let’s get one thing straight, bucko,” she says. “Perhaps you’re going to get a higher perch in heaven than I am or killing yourself to do things well even when you know they’re worthless. But I’m not interested in that. My goal is just to slide by, to score more points in the ‘Had Fun’ column than in the ‘Applies Herself’ one.”

I had to look this book up. Sounds very interesting and i’m adding it to my growing list! Great teaser.
