Jessica Sorenson - First I was intrigued by Gemma Lucas' dilemma, then confused with all the dreams/visions and attempted forays into the strange worlds. Then it just became exasperating to witness all the blundering efforts to fight off evil. Perhaps it may have been a more enjoyable read were there fewer errors and less hair tucking. And did anyone else notice that there was no further mention of Gemma's Mom at the beach house? So now I know who her Dad is, but I really don't care. No #3, 4 or 5 for me, thanks.

This book in particular had a lot grammatical errors than other books written by this author. I enjoyed the story as I have followed this book series for about 3 years now. I hope to see more and hope that whomever completes the final review on Jessica's books really takes the time to correct grammatical errors so that the readers experience can be maximized.
  • Started off interesting, but then it got weird.

Originally liked the story about Gemma being a star and Alex being her soul mate, but the story got weird. The story became unrealistic and unbelievable. Too much would change at a whim. It was hard to keep up and understand their world when the rules kept changing.

I really like these series, however the MANY grammatical errors and missing pieces are annoying. Sometimes the story jumps from an unfinished scenario to another clearly leaving out parts of the book. Otherwise good story.
