Book Summary

~A London Lovers Series Standalone~

When Leslie Lincoln, a spunky, red-headed American, suffers an awkward moment with an arousingly-sexy British man—she thinks her life can't get any more pathetic.

She's done with men.
She doesn't need them.
She especially doesn't need their muscular thighs.
No siree, she's going to forget all about the brooding, complicated, and seductive "Theo" who captivated her on the dance floor of a London nightclub.

Keep telling yourself that, Lez.....

Immersing herself into a new type of romantic cleanse, Leslie thinks she'll never lay eyes on Theo again. But somehow, he's managed to bulldoze his way back in—her cheetah-print onesie pajamas be damned.

He wants more.
She wants to run.
But he can’t seem to let her go.

Both of them have a past—and neither want to share.

How can love possibly survive in darkness?

  • I'm a LL!!

There are SO many things that I love about this book. Out of the LL books, this one is hands DOWN the favorite. This book is everything. Theo is everything. Leslie is everything and Hayden is everything. Broken record here, but as I've said in other reviews for this series, I didn't start from the beginning. Reading this book shed SO much light onto NTO that I was able to piece together other little things. They are standalones and you don't HAVE to read this one to "get" or enjoy NTO but there was a lot of things that just helped it make more sense. This one not only made me laugh, but it jerked many tears as well. Amy is great at hitting you when you least expect it and completely out of nowhere. I love Amy, I love Leslie, Theo and Hayden. Let's not forget Franks and Beans too. :) I've decided that Leslie is the glue that holds and connects everyone. She helps Theo and Hayden and maybe unknowingly, helps herself as well. I loved EVERYTHING about this book. EVERYTHING.

  • You need to be London Bound! I love Theo!

London Bound is the third book in the London Lover Series. It is a standalone book, however if you read Becoming Us: College Love Never Hurt So Good and A Broken Us, you might understand some of the characters better. I read London Bound first, then Becoming Us and A Broken Us. It can definitely be a standalone book. It is told from Leslie’s POV with flashbacks. Theo and Leslie have an unforgettable/embarrassing evening at a London nightclub. She can’t get Theo out of her head. Frank suggest a cleanse to get rid of the bad romantic juju that has taken hold in Leslie’s life. Little does Leslie know that Theo will chase her to get what he want which is her light in his life. Yes, they both have secrets that could break them apart. Are they going to take the chance to see if they can work? This was my first Amy Daws book. I was asked to beta read an unedited version because I hadn’t read the previous books. I had them on my TBR list but for every one book I read, I add 10 more. Anyway, WHY HADN’T I READ HER BEFORE? HER BOOK IS HILARIOUS! They have that magical blend of tension, romance, and humor that will rank a book as a must read for me. There are so many lines that speak to my soul from her book. “In all my life, I’ve never felt what Theo’s managed to make me feel in the matter of seconds. Knowing my words will only pale in comparison to his, I return his kiss passionately, whispering a simple ‘thank you’.” “He stops kissing me and looks deeply into my eyes. The vulnerability there on display for me to see—to accept—to love. I can feel it. I can touch it. Every single part of him, physically, emotionally, he’s offering it to me. It’s all I can do to accept it all.” Sigh. That’s just a sample of the awesomeness of this book. Of course we have the humor. Leslie, Finley, and Frank do an excellent job bringing such liveliness into this great story. Two words: chaps and a bedazzler. I was laughing out loud much to the annoyance of my husband. I adore Frank and would someday see him with a happily ever after. Read London Bound even if you have not had the pleasure of Becoming Us or a Broken Us. This book is different type of than those two books, especially A Broken US. It’s on my must read and re-read list. It will not disappoint.
