I was lucky enough to receive a couple of awards.

The “Ooh La La! I adore your blog!” award came from J. Kaye and it does come with a few questions attached.

1. Where is your favorite place to read a book? That would be on my comfy chair in the living room.
   
2. Bookmarks or dog ears? Both actually. I buy mostly used books and I will dog ear those if the book lover before me already had some ear flaps of their own. New books or those in super condition always get a bookmark.
3. What is the best book you have read so far this year? Oh my, this is a difficult one. Off the top of my head, The Road, Kafka on the Shore, Good Omens, I Am Legend and Her Fearful Symmetry come to mind but are by no means my only favorites.
   
4. Do you like to snack while reading and if so, what is your favorite snack? I usually have a cup of tea but surprisingly, not a big snacker. I do not want my hands occupied by anything else. They need to be available at all times to hold a book and turn a page.
5. Book borrower or book collector? Collector, collector, collector!! Wait a minute, I need to pick up that pile of books that has toppled.

Now for the this-and-that.  I usually do not make a mention of any books I receive for review, from giveaways or those that I purchased (other than my “received from” page). I have to mention the great haul I brought home today for such a tiny amount of coins. And yes, I paid with coins. Wait until I tell you the total $$$ spent.
